      Expedition specific down salopettes for extreme environments

      Designed for use in the most extreme environments on earth, the Apex 8000 Down Salopettes have been developed in conjunction with expedition leading mountaineers and tested in high altitudes of 8000m+. The salopettes are designed to be used with the Apex 8000 Down Jacket as part of a 2 piece system, which gives them versatility for use at lower altitudes or on polar expeditions. Filled with 300g of the highest quality water-resistant goose down within a box walled construction there is no compromise to functionality or features on this piece of survival gear.

      Testing in the cold chamber

      Cold chambers were used extensively in the design of the Apex 8000 Down Suit. Test protocols were created to allow accurate measurements of important metrics such as temperature differentials and relative humidity (RH), allowing our designers to prove empirically that the suits technologies and construction perform to the high standards demanded by our athletes.
