Really fantastic jacket for crisp cool days. I would say with England being a pretty wet country a synthetic one could be better, which I do have in the Montane range which is also great too.

I'm 6 foot tall with long arms and the L fits perfectly with ample room underneath for a couple of lighter layers. The jacket is extremely lightweight but exceptionally warm for its thickness. It's not been subject to any serious rainfall yet but I believe it will dry out very quickly when that happens. For colder conditions, it would be a perfect midlayer item.
