The jacket is designed to be used with the Apex 8000 Down Salopettes as part of a 2 piece system, which gives it versatility for use at lower altitudes or on polar expeditions. Filled with 500g of the highest quality water-resistant goose down within a box walled construction. With the additional water resistance of PrimaLoft® insulation in key areas, there is no compromise to functionality or features on this piece of survival gear.

Construction
- PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO A 30 Denier ripstop woven using recycled nylon yarns, with an ultra-thin water-resistant coating, and durable construction, maximising insulation. A PFC/PFAS Free durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.
- PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO A 50 denier ripstop reinforcement Pertex quantum pro with an ultra-thin water-resistant coating, and durable construction, maximising insulation. A PFC/PFAS Free durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.
- Filled with 505g (size Medium) of 90/10 ExpeDRY goose down at 850+ fill power . ExpeDRY works through a permanent and chemical-free bonding of gold particles to the down cluster which aid in the evaporation of water molecules, causing the down to dry faster and stay dry in high humidity and extreme conditions.
- PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ technology. Exceptional insulation of PrimaLoft® Gold enhanced with aerogel technology for superior thermal efficiency.
- PEAQ Lightweight recycled nylon plain woven fabric with a PFC Free (C0) DWR.
