Brought this jacket to take on holiday to south America in Peru, to replace my Montane featherlite down jacket that has gotten to small for me. This is such a beautiful colour that really stands out and the jacket is so warm and packable and lite! Expensive but worth every penny!

Really light but exceptionally warm. Apparently difficult to wrap up as a present.. but not knocking any stars off for that.

I bought this for a scientific fieldwork deployment on the Greenland Ice Sheet. I wore this day in and day out for 3 weeks, in winds up to 20 knots and temperatures as low as -40C. This coat performed very well, keeping the chill out down to around -25C. Beyond that, I'd weary another coat over the top and that would be fine. It's warm, dries quickly, incredibly light weight and in my opinion worth the price if you need something bomber to keep you warm
