Joining our popular Protium fleece range, this technical balaclava utilises the same THERMO GRID fleece fabric, enabling it to manage moisture and effectively regulate your heat. Additional protection from the cold comes from double layer fabric over the forehead and ears. The Protium Balaclava will keep you warm and comfortable on a wide range of fast pased mountain adventures in cold conditions - including walking, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, trekking and ski touring!

    Montane Protium Fleece Balaclava

    Not yet tested this in the wild, but I look as good as can be expected wearing a balaclava, it's comfortable, and I like the functionality of being able to pull back the hood.

    Montane Protium Fleece Balaclava

    A very versatile balaclava, I've also worn it as a snood and as a hat, as well as the excellent full face protection that the full balaclava offers. I waited a while for it to come back into stock but it was worth the wait.
