    Light and small

    I've run with it for 4 years now. I like it, but it can be better. First the chest straps, the one I got from the start were not good, the replacement straps were better, but still they loosen when you run and the backpack is full. I've made them shorter, so they fit me. The straps that close the main pouch is a bit tricky. Especially if the backpack is full. If you have bad luck they loosen and the pouch get open. Doesn't happen often but still it can happen. I don't know why the pouches on the side continues like a "L" to the hip. I miss small pockets to have small things in. My wife fixed that, she made a pocket on the hip, so it's now not connected to the pouch on the side. Right behind the text Trailblazer 28L she sew. The zigzag straps on the back are good, It's very good to run with and good straps for the poles! I'm not sure if it really is 28 l inside the main pouch, maybe toghether with the pouches on both sides. Anyway It stays close to your body and I'm now consider bying another one, the old one is worn-out. Sorry for bad English.

    Backpack

    This is an interesting backpack. Has a different way to open and close the main pouch which has been developed in many of the new bags recently. Just need to work out the weight of contents inbag, so does it sit more on your waste or on your shoulders.

    Great backpack for Fastpack if chest straps were fit for purpose

    I bought the LT28 Trailblazer as I needed a uktra light pack for fastpacking and jumped at it as I have Trailblazer 30 and found it very comfortable with zero bounce when straps were tight.

    The LT 28 has tiny chest straps that are elasticated and I cannot seem to get a tight fit as they loosen when you start to run which means I need to stop to re-adjust. The daisy chain clips, where they clip into is stretching. Not happy with the chest strap mechanism which makes ultra lightweight backpack almost useless for fastpack running. Has Montane actually tested this backpack with testers actually running with it??

    I may have to revert to the heavier Trailblazer 30 again as its tried and trusted
