I purchased a pair of Montane outdoor shell pants five years ago during a ski trip in British Columbia and was so impressed that I bought a GORE-TEX jacket a year later for trekking in the mountains. When I saw the new line of jackets, I noticed how much longer the new model was, and I just had to have it!
What an incredible company and product! I absolutely love the new length, especially as a tall person (I’m 5’10”)—the new jacket fits perfectly. With the old model, the jacket would ride up whenever I bent over, but the new design solves that issue completely. I'm so thrilled with this purchase. This waterproof is the best I've ever bought, although it did come up small, so I bought the jacket two sizes bigger to add layers underneath. It's quite long, so covers what I wanted it to and have bought a light down jacket to wear underneath for warmth. It's very waterproof, breathable and good in windy conditions.
