Base layers are an essential part of our layering system in the mountains and the first point of contact next to skin. As a result, over time they can lose their freshness and need will need some help from you to restore them to their former glory.

Dart Baselayers

All Dart baselayers are made with Polygiene technology, which inhibits the growth of odour-cuasing bacteria and microbes. This technology means our Dart's are designed to be worn for longer and require less washing.

My Dart base layer is ready for a wash, what should I do?
Take a look at the wash care labels provided on the garment and wash according to these instructions.

PRIMINO Baselayers

PRIMINO combines a unique blend of high performance Primaloft yarns ethically sourced Merino wool, creating a supremely comfortable, warm, wicking and ultra-fast drying baselayer designed for use in cold conditions.

How do I wash my Montane PRIMINO Baselayer?
Machine wash at 40°C with a mild reputable detergent and allow to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry. Montane does not recommend that you dry clean or bleach your Primino® baselayers. We always recommend that you consult the care labels ahead of any wash or drying process.
