Introducing Galen Reynolds

Originally from Canada with an ice hockey background, Galen has been able to transfer athletic dexterity into his training regimes, including a mixture of dedication and an upbeat attitude, to compete against the worlds best in long mountain ultras.

Galen has ran some of the most iconic ultras in the world, including the UTMB and Montane Tor des Geants where he has finished 2nd in 2018 and 2019. In 2019 he also broke fellow Montane Athlete Marcus Scotney's Montane Dragon's Back Course Record and won the Montane Cheviot Goat. Living in Slovenia for the past few years Galen has had a hot streak of wins in several prestigious European ultras, most recently coming 1st in the 360 kilometre Swiss Peaks race which has over 26,610 metres of ascent.
