This highly technical, lightweight fleece has been developed to be 35% lighter but still retain all the warmth and breathability that our Protium midlayers are famous for.

Montane’s own THERMO GRID FLEECE LITE has been constructed with a brushed and gridded back to hold warm air close to the body, while drawing excess moisture away from you and out into the air, something it does even better by using less fabric.

When developing Protium Lite’s THERMO GRID FLEECE LITE, Montane’s designers took the principes of a super-lightweight fleece and turned it up a notch, successfully supercharging the material’s grid-back design to retain heat, boost breathability and slash the weight by over one third, for supreme thermal efficiency.
