Very pleased with this jacket. Not the cheapest, but I have worn it non-stop since purchase.
Fit is true to size, and with some minimal extra layers this garmet can cope with extreme weather. It is properly waterproof and has just the right ammount of insulation.

An excellent warm jacket which is also waterproof. It is also given the level of insulation surprisingly light. It is a very warm jacket perfect on cold days and you don’t need to wear many layers to keep warm. I wear it for cold days walking my dog. But I really bought it to keep me warm and dry when I’m standing around when I’m making photos. As a landscape photographer I spend a lot of time outdoors standing around often in cold or wet weather conditions It is also very wind proof and so far I’ve been very toasty wearing it.
I bought a medium which fits me well, I am a very slim size and the jacket is quite tight if you wear a thick jumper underneath but that’s not something you need to do given the level of insulation.
Jacket has some lovely deep pockets which are easy to zip up, unlike my other Montane jacket which regularly catches the jacket material in the zip. Hood is lined and offers another level of insulation on a cold days.
A great jacket for walking but less so given the insulation for walking with a rucksack unless you are in arctic conditions

I have owned this jacket for around 18 months. It is the perfect thickness - not too light and not too heavy. Very good in wet weather. However, a warning to all those thinking of purchasing this product. Don't! The zips are really poor quality, especially the front main zip. This has caught almost from day one and has now broken completely. I have never experienced this with any other similar products from other manufacturers. Save your money and buy another brand.
